The fourteenth week of Spring 2006 saw two teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and two rolled new personal high games. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (169) and series (464) for the women, while Rich DeYoung earned this week's high game (247) and series (659) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 21 & 22: Split Happens alternated between bowling and dry humping Bowl Movement. Though featuring Ryan Doll with his above-average 531 series, Split Happens accomplished only 1 win against Bowl Movement. Concurrently, David Codding showed off in Bowl Movement with his 601 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Split Happens drop 1 spot in the standings to 5th place, while Bowl Movement remains in 2nd.
On lanes 23 & 24: Guttersluts couldn't stop inappropriately groping Sweeter Than Yoohoo. In spite of the prowess of Travis Kleiner with his 375 series, Guttersluts got swept by Yoohoo. Across the ball return, Thomas Lin laid down the law in Yoohoo with his above-average 582 as they swept the competition. Guttersluts drop 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while Yoohoo moves 1 spot to 4th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Bora Bora couldn't stop undressing with their eyes the members of I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka!. In spite of top-billing by John Richardson with his 494 series, Bora Bora accomplished only 1 win against the Belt. As for the opposition, trifecta-winner (#1 Head-to-Head, #1 Power-Ranked, and Most Valuable Bowler) Rich DeYoung oversaw the Belt with his fantastic 659 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Bora Bora remains in 3rd place, while the Belt remains in 1st.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Yo Mama matched wits with Tatonka. Headlined by Andy Metzler with his 503 series, Yo Mama collected 3 wins against Tatonka. In the meantime, Andy McLeod ruled Tatonka with his above-average 507 despite his team notching only a single win. Yo Mama leaps 1 spot in the standings to 6th place, while Tatonka remains in 8th.
Bowlers bribing their way into The 200 Club include: Andy McLeod (200), David Codding (223), Dennis Laube (203), Jason Carpio (203), Ken M. Wilson (211), Pat Searcy (221), Rich DeYoung (247,220), Scott Murdock (204), and Thomas Lin (206)

Scott Murdock clobbered Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4 (though Tracy Rychlewski came closest). Finally, Ryan Doll (Division 4) routed this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Ken M. Wilson is in the driver's seat in Division 1; David Codding tops Division 2; John Richardson leads Division 3; and Ryan Doll calls the shots for Division 4.
NEXT WEEK:
- First, on lanes 21&22, 3rd-place Bora Bora will throw some gutter balls with 6th-place Yo Mama (hcp 76). Bora Bora is expected to maintain their current strength as they win the series; while Yo Mama is forecast to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
- Moving to lanes 23&24, 8th-place Tatonka (hcp 163) will face 1st-place I'm Gonna Belt Ya, Sucka!. Tatonka might maintain their current strength as they get swept; while the Belt ought to drop their average a bit even as they rack up a sweep.
- Then, over on lanes 25&26, 7th-place Guttersluts (hcp 300) will test their mettle against 2nd-place Bowl Movement. Guttersluts will likely maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Bowl Movement will probably drop their average a bit even as they enjoy their victories.
- Finally, on lanes 27&28, 5th-place Split Happens (hcp 102) will match wits with 4th-place Sweeter Than Yoohoo. Split Happens are predicted to maintain their current strength as they and split the series with Yoohoo; while Yoohoo is anticipated to drop their average a bit while they keep the series tied.
