Fall 2022 Recap

Posted by ScooterJ December 30, 2022 Fall 2022

Here is your Fall 2022 Recap, where you can find out who won all the individual awards plus lots more! Our next season will begin on January 24, 2023!

Unlike last Spring where there were a number of lead changes and three teams had good shots at the championship, this season Baby Beardo started out the season in first place and lever lost that rank, earning the championship a week before championship week. The team finishes as the 27th strongest team in league history.

SOME TRIVIA FACTS ABOUT THE SPRING 2022 SEASON:

  • In terms of league strength, this was the best season in the post-AMF (and also post-COVID) era, with 107 200+ games and a combined league average of 153.488, better than 2/3 of all previous seasons going back to 1999!
  • With the completion of this season, Emily Nicolet is now the new current bowler who has gone the most weeks without ever experiencing what it’s like to be in 1st place. 95 weeks and still trying!
  • Aaron Barber has now caught up to Ian Goetz and Ryan Doll in a 3-way tie for 3rd place for the most 600+ series in league history, at 59.
  • Collin Lavery made it onto the Top 25 list of bowlers who improved the most in-between seasons, raising his average 21 pins over where he ended last Spring.
  • Week 14, game 2, was JoAnne Barber’s 500th game in this league. That was also her high game that night, 35 over average.
