After years over suffering with blurry, miscolored, distorted scoreboards, we have credible information that by next week all of the scoreboards will be replaced with modern LCD flat=panel screens. It remains to be seen if or when this will be followed with high-def signal on the TVs, or working lanes.

As for what happened bowling-wise tonight, on lanes 7 & 8: Holy Sandbaggers, Batman! poked the eyes out of Ray & Stevie. Led by Phil Schroeder and his 534 series, and assisted by Dennis Laube's first 200+ game this season, Holy Sandbaggers, Batman! secured a clean sweep over Ray & Stevie. Holy Sandbaggers, Batman! climbs 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while Ray & Stevie remains in 8th.

On lanes 9 & 10: Terra Bowl had a rendezvous with a half-prebowling W.A.Q.P.T.G.B.T.E! on the most defective lanes in AMF history. Led by Jake Parrott and his 426 series, Terra Bowl managed only 1 win against W.A.Q.P.T.G.B.T.E!. Meanwhile, led by Landon Cline and his 602 series, W.A.Q.P.T.G.B.T.E! secured 3 wins. Terra Bowl remains in 7th place, while W.A.Q.P.T.G.B.T.E! remains in 2nd.

By the way, we have noticed that Ben Spencer is someone who has been quietly improving his game. If he returns next season, he may be a wise choice for a team to snap up as a handicapper.

These really hurt to get. Barber's even got infected.

On lanes 11 & 12: Despite the pain and suffering the entire team experienced getting their namesake tattooed on their arms, O'Dell Lawn Service only managed to trim Stephen Hawking's front yard before their mowers broke down. O'Dell was led by Jeremy Gregory's 536 series, in their one win. Meanwhile, led by Michael Mead and his 607 series, Stephen Hawking's Fight Club secured 3 wins. O'Dell Lawn Service drops 1 spot in the standings to 5th place, while Stephen Hawking's Fight Club remains in 3rd.

Finally, down on lanes 13 & 14: Split It & Hit It received a rather tantalizing visit from Vote JV HoF 2016. Led by sub Ben Summers and his 393 series, Split It & Hit It managed only 1 win against Vote JV HoF 2016. Meanwhile, led by John Boren and his 633 series, Vote JV HoF 2016 secured 3 wins. Split It & Hit It remains in 6th place, while Vote JV HoF 2016 remains in 1st. If Split It could find subs or new bowlers that show up for more than just 1-2 weeks, they might have a shot at winning some games. Though there's a possibility we haven't seen the last of Mark DeVoe this season after all!

This week in Tournament of Champions, Landon Cline took Division 1 and slipped into second place, knocking Michael Gordon down. Mathematically, only Carl, Landon, and Michael G are still in contention in Division 1. Division 2 was ruled by Matt O'Dell, though he didn't quite place. Phil is now eliminated from contention. Russell Bingham took Division 3, and Tim is now out of contention. In Division 4, Scott Murdock slipped into 2nd place, but only Mark is eliminated from any possibility of winning it all.
