Despite some major upsets across the league, nothing changed in the standings. Well, almost nothing.First up, on lanes 41 & 42: Bowies In Space met with Bowlgasmic. Led by #1 Power ranked Michael Gordon and his 651 series (his new personal best!), and assisted by the glass-shattering distraction skills of Michael Mead, Bowies In Space secured 3 wins against Bowlgasmic. Notice that Aaron Barber continues to not win any special awards since he is still refusing to dress up as David Bowie. Meanwhile, led by Kody Karnes and his 645 series, Bowlgasmic could only secure 1 win. As he was leaving, Kody was heard muttering to himself that he should never have broken up with AJ Hofmann. Bowies In Space remains in 3rd place, while Bowlgasmic drops 1 spot to 7th.

On lanes 43 & 44: Split Sisters hoped that if they bowled slowly enough their opponents might die of old age, but Split It & Hit It just barely outlived the length of the series. Which, for Mark DeVoe, was nothing short of miraculous. Led by Amber Waddle and her very erratic 408 series, Split Sisters got swept by Split It & Hit It. Meanwhile, led by Dennis Blake and his 582 series, Split It & Hit It secured a clean sweep. Split Sisters remains in 8th place, while Split It & Hit It moves up 1 spot to 6th.

On lanes 45 & 46: In an eerily accurately predicted series, Holy Sandbaggers, Batman! faced off against 404: Team Name Not Found. Led by Aubrey Moren and his 576 series, Holy Sandbaggers, Batman! managed only 1 win against 404: Team Name Not Found -- mainly because at the last minute 404 decided to wait until the end to get their free drinks. Meanwhile, led by Scott Murdock and his 524 series, 404: Team Name Not Found secured 3 wins. Holy Sandbaggers, Batman! remains in 2nd place, while 404: Team Name Not Found remains in 4th.

Finally, down on lanes 47 & 48: Glory Bowl exchanged nervous glances with Fallop Ian but ended up having nothing to worry about. Led by AJ Hofmann and his MVB-earning, head-to-head winning 501 series, Glory Bowl secured 3 wins against Fallop Ian. Meanwhile, led by Carl Goetz and his 613 series, Fallop Ian could only secure 1 win. Glory Bowl remains in 5th place, while Fallop Ian remains in 1st.

This week in Tournament of Champions, while Dennis Blake holds the lead in Division 1, Michael Gordon has moved into second place. Scott Murdock won Division 2 to finally get on the board and join the tie for second place. Nobody won Division 3 or even made it past the second round, so nothing changed.
