While everyone has been worrying about the antics of Salt Water Taffy and Stephen Hawkings Dance Club, another team has been quietly cornholing us all and climbing the ranks. With a three week streak sweep so far, could a new contender for first be in our future?First up, on lanes 41 & 42: The other half of Split It & Hit It showed up to roll against 3/4 of It's A Trap!. Led by Todd Way and his 514 series, Split It & Hit It freed 3 wins from the Trap. Chelsie Finger and her nicely even 400 series was enough to snag one win. Split It & Hit It remains in 3rd place, while It's A Trap! remains in 7th.

On lanes 43 & 44: Hold My Beer, Watch This hoped that Michael Gordon would still be too hung over on Irish beer to lead Stephen Hawking's Dance Club to victory. And they were right, except that Russell Bingham more than made up the difference with a and his 640 series and a career-high 247 game 1. Kody Karnes and his 585 series could not keep up, grabbing only 1 win from Stephen Hawking's Dance Club. Hold My Beer, Watch This remains in 6th place, while Stephen Hawking's Dance Club remains in 2nd.

On lanes 45 & 46: Salt Water Taffy faced off against Ray & Stevie. Led by Carl Goetz and his 611 series, Salt Water Taffy secured 3 wins against Ray & Stevie. Did we say 3? That's right, 3. A late-arriving Ian Goetz jinxed his teammates into losing the second game. Salt Water Taffy remains in 1st place, while Ray & Stevie remains in 8th.

Finally, down on lanes 47 & 48: 404: Team Name Not Found met Holy Sandbaggers, Batman!. Led by Scott Murdock and his 493 series, 404: Team Name Not Found found zero wins. Aubrey Moren led the Sandbaggers with a 601 series, securing their third clean sweep in a row. 404: Team Name Not Found remains in 5th place, while Holy Sandbaggers, Batman! remains in 4th.

This week in Tournament of Champions, nobody won Division 1. In fact, no one even made it to round 3. Pitiful. In Division 2, Scott Murdock somehow pulled past Russell Bingham to win the week but not to pass him in total points. Division 3 was won by Phil Schroeder, who jumped for first place.
