Shaking It Up

Posted by ScooterJ September 1, 2015 Fall 2015, Week 2 View Score Sheets

The second week of the Fall 2015 season saw some pretty big shakeups, as every team ever moved in the standings or caused a major upset.

The league's newest member... draining itself of golden liquid almost as frequently as those drinking from it.

First up, on lanes 41 & 42: Stephen Hawking's Dance Club faced off against Ray & Stevie. Led by a freshly-back-from Vegas Michael Gordon and his 540 series, Stephen Hawking's Dance Club secured a clean sweep against the blinds. Stephen Hawking climbs 4 spots in the standings to 2nd place, while Ray & Stevie remains in 8th in perpetuity.

On lanes 43 & 44: 404: Team Name Not Found met a nearly-reassembled Split It & Hit It. Led by Scott Murdock and his 517 series, and boosted by rookie Zach Cross's first MVB performance, the 404 error secured a clean sweep over Split It & Hit It. Dennis Blake tried to erase the error with his 439 series, but no victories could be found. 404: Team Name Not Found climbs 4 spots in the standings to 1st place, while Split It & Hit It sinks 4 spots to 6th.

Meanwhile, on lanes 45 & 46: Hold My Beer, Watch This handed their beer to a half-present Holy Sandbaggers, Batman!. Led by Kody Karnes and his 622 series, Hold My Beer, Watch This snagged 3 wins against Holy Sandbaggers, Batman!. Aubrey Moren did his best to cause a commotion with his #1 power ranked 669 series, but the Sandbaggers could only bag 1 win. Hold My Beer climbs 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while the Sandbaggers drop 3 spots to 4th.

Finally, down on lanes 47 & 48: Salt Water Taffy faced off against It's A Trap!. Carl Goetz thought he might have an easy go at it with his 616 series, but Andrew Finger fought back with a 605 series to split the matchup. Salt Water Taffy drops 2 spots in the standings to 5th place, while It's A Trap! remains in 7th but at least now has some notches in the win column.

The Tournament of Champions will begin in 2 weeks, with the divisions set next week.
