The fifteenth week of Spring 2010 saw one team climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (209) and series (541) for the women. As for the men, Ken M. Wilson snagged this week's high game with a 245, and high series was earned by Carl Goetz with a 582. Meanwhile, Tournament of Champions is officially down to its final eight bowlers, who will face each other next week competing for two cash prizes! Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 25 & 26: The Prak Attack entered a showdown to the death with 3 Pin Moon. Despite being led by Shane Pfaffly with his below-average 359 series, the Attack got swept by 3 Pin Moon. On the other side, Ryan Doll laid down the law in 3 Pin Moon with his 547 as they swept the competition. The Prak Attack drops 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while 3 Pin Moon remains in 3rd.
On lanes 27 & 28: No Pinheads traded lane malfunctions with Bowlumpkin. Blessed by trifecta-winner (#1 Head-to-Head, #1 Power-Ranked, and Most Valuable Bowler) Phil Schroeder and his above-average 544 series, the Pinheads celebrated a clean sweep over Bowlumpkin. In the midst of this, AJ Taylor showed off in Bowlumpkin with his 440 despite his team getting swept. No Pinheads leap 2 spots in the standings to 5th place, while Bowlumpkin sinks 1 spot to 6th.
On lanes 29 & 30: Little Lebowski Urban Achievers sparred with Empire Strikes Back. Even though highlighted by the skills of Clay Mellgren with his above-average 502 series, the Urban Achievers accomplished only 1 win against the Empire. On the other half of the score sheet, Carl Goetz called the shots for the Empire with his 582 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Little Lebowski Urban Achievers remains in 8th place, while the Empire remains in 2nd.
Finally, down on lanes 31 & 32: Scoot Gave Us The Schlitz deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of Lil' Devils. Topped by Angela Bradford with her 521 series, the Schlitz collected 3 wins against Lil' Devils. In the meantime, Andrea Caudillo dominated Lil' Devils with her above-average 462 despite her team notching only a single win. Scoot Gave Us The Schlitz remains in 1st place, while Lil' Devils remain in 4th.

NEXT WEEK:
- First, on lanes 25&26, 1st-place Scoot Gave Us The Schlitz (hcp 59) will spend some quality time with 2nd-place Empire Strikes Back. The Schlitz is expected to maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while the Empire is forecast to hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
- Moving to lanes 27&28, 3rd-place 3 Pin Moon will roll against 4th-place Lil' Devils (hcp 126). 3 Pin Moon might maintain their current strength as they sweep the series; while Lil' Devils ought to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
- Then, over on lanes 29&30, 5th-place No Pinheads will battle 6th-place Bowlumpkin (hcp 102). The Pinheads will likely maintain their current strength as they sweep the series; while Bowlumpkin will probably hold steady as they endure a rough night.
- Finally, on lanes 31&32, 7th-place The Prak Attack (hcp 1) will compete against 8th-place Little Lebowski Urban Achievers. The Attack is predicted to roll a little low and lose the series but avoid getting swept; while the Urban Achievers are anticipated to hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
