Fall 2009 Week 10 Robo-RecapThe Fall 2009 position round is now history, and and the championship will be on us before we know it! The tenth week saw three teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Andrea Caudillo picked up this week's high game (185) and series (464) for the women, while David Codding earned this week's high game (276) and series (702) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Sweep The Leg, Johnny had a delightful time with No Pinheads. Highlighting the skills of #1 Power-Ranked David Codding and his dazzling 702 series, Sweep The Leg celebrated a clean sweep over No Pinheads. Countering this, #1 Head-to-Head Aubrey Moren dominated No Pinheads with his staggering 584 despite his team getting swept. Sweep The Leg, Johnny remains in 1st place, while No Pinheads sink 1 spot to 3rd.

week10On lanes 21 & 22: Quick Release hung out with BILFs. With top billing by Ryan Doll with his above-average 617 series, Quick Release celebrated a clean sweep over BILFs. In the meantime, Scott Murdock oversaw BILFs with his 485 despite his team getting swept. Quick Release leaps 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while BILFs sink 1 spot to 5th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Rollin' J's had some one-on-one time with Ebowla. Starring David Parre with his below-average 494 series, Rollin' J's collected 3 wins against Ebowla. On the other side, Jason Carpio guided Ebowla with his (either injured, sick, or sandbagging) 451 despite his team notching only a single win. Rollin' J's leap 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while Ebowla moves 1 spot to 7th.

On lanes 25 & 26: WWJB alternated between bowling and dry humping BOWLSH!T. Headlined by Rich Foster with his thrilling 520 series, WWJB celebrated a clean sweep over BOWLSH!T. . With BOWLSH!T forfeiting, all WWJB needed to do was roll within 40 pins of their combined team average each game. Mission accomplished. WWJB remains in 6th place, while BOWLSH!T sinks 1 spot to 8th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Chicks With Balls tussled with Split Happens. Topped by Andrea Caudillo with her above-average 464 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Tiffany Schmidt, the Chicks celebrated a clean sweep over Split Happens. . With Split Happens forfeiting, all the Chicks needed to do was roll within 40 pins of their combined team average each game. Mission accomplished. Chicks With Balls remains in 9th place, while Split Happens remain in 10th.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Ryan Doll claimed victory in Division 1, while nobody claimed victory in Division 2 (though Rob Kaszuba and Andrea Caudillo came closest). AJ Hofmann made quick work of Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4 (though Amy Goodnow came closest). And, finally, nobody claimed victory in the Interdivisional bracket (though Andrea Caudillo (Division ) came closest). In terms of overall points: Ken M. Wilson governs Division 1; Aubrey Moren reigns over Division 2; AJ Hofmann tops Division 3; and Amanda Duncan dominates Division 4.

NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 19&20, 10th-place Split Happens (hcp 104) will battle 3rd-place No Pinheads. Split Happens are expected to maintain their current strength as they get swept; while No Pinheads are forecast to hold steady as they rack up a sweep.
  • Moving to lanes 21&22, 4th-place Rollin' J's (hcp 50) will spend some quality time with 8th-place BOWLSH!T. Rollin' J's might perform well, yet still manage to lose the series but avoid getting swept; while BOWLSH!T ought to hold steady as they enjoy their victories.
  • Then, over on lanes 23&24, 1st-place Sweep The Leg, Johnny will face 5th-place BILFs (hcp 167). Sweep The Leg will likely maintain their current strength as they sweep the series; while BILFs will probably hold steady as they endure a rough night.
  • Next up, on lanes 25&26, 9th-place Chicks With Balls (hcp 28) will chuck some balls with 6th-place WWJB. The Chicks might maintain their current strength as they just barely miss getting swept; while WWJB ought to raise their average while they enjoy their victories.
  • Finally, on lanes 27&28, 2nd-place Quick Release will compete against 7th-place Ebowla (hcp 88). Quick Release is predicted to roll a little low, yet still manage to win the series; while Ebowla is anticipated to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
