The Spring 2009 season draws to a close, with Schlitz For Us, Splits For You officially earning this season's championship title! The final week saw one team climb in the standings, while one team slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (192) and series (499) for the women, while Cory Chorpenning earned this week's high game (226) and series (570) for the men. First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Schlitz For Us, Splits For You hung out with Chico's Bail Bonds. Starring Bob Brunker with his 512 series, Schlitz collected 3 wins against Chico's. Countering this, Ken M. Wilson reigned supreme in Chico's with his 531 despite his team notching only a single win. Schlitz For Us, Splits For You end in 1st place, while Chico's wind up in 2nd.
On lanes 21 & 22: Rule 6B couldn't stop undressing with their eyes the members of No Pinheads. Although topped by Ryan Doll with his 490 series, with props to #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Phil Schroeder, Rule 6B accomplished only 1 win against No Pinheads. As for the opposition, Most Valuable Bowler Phil Schroeder mastered No Pinheads with his above-average 531 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Rule 6B finish in 3rd place, while No Pinheads end up with 4th.
On lanes 23 & 24: Sh!t, Another Season matched wits with WWJB. Demonstrating the prowess of Cory Chorpenning with his 570 series, Another Season collected 3 wins against WWJB. Simultaneously, Rich Foster dominated WWJB with his staggering 489 despite his team notching only a single win. Sh!t, Another Season complete in 5th place, while WWJB come out in 6th.
On lanes 25 & 26: Turkey Sandwich kept stealing sips of beer from Chicks With Balls. Led by Zach Frank with his 424 series, Turkey Sandwich collected 3 wins against the Chicks. In the midst of this, Kelly Minihan laid down the law in the Chicks with her dramatic 435 despite her team notching only a single win. Turkey Sandwich close out in 7th place, while the Chicks cros the finish line in 8th.
Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends had some one-on-one time with XXX. While headlined by Drew Eldridge with his above-average 440 series, Wonder Friends accomplished only 1 win against XXX. Across the ball return, Rich DeYoung oversaw XXX with his 488 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends drop 1 spot in the standings to 10th place, while XXX moves 1 spot to 9th.

A new personal best series was rolled tonight by Ben Wetteborn (487, previous best 450).
After a hard fought season, the Tournament of Champions was won tonight by Phil Schroeder (Division 2), with landing in second place. Phil will pocket the nice first-place pot, while will take away the second-place pot. Congratulations!
