First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Chicks With Balls tussled with Chico's Bail Bonds. Despite being led by Janelle (Laube) Lamar with her above-average 439 series, the Chicks got swept by Chico's. On the other half of the score sheet, #1 Head-to-Head Ken M. Wilson shined in Chico's with his wondrous 608 as they swept the competition. Chicks With Balls remains in 6th place, while Chico's move 1 spot to 2nd.

On lanes 21 & 22: XXX had some one-on-one time with Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends. Highlighting the skills of Tiffany Schmidt with her 320 series, XXX split the series with Wonder Friends. Conversely, Ryan Housknecht reigned supreme in Wonder Friends with his above-average 433 as they matched their opponent in wins. XXX remains in 10th place, while Wonder Friends remain in 9th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Sh!t, Another Season faced off against No Pinheads. Demonstrating the prowess of Duncan Ferber with his 559 series, Another Season collected 3 wins against No Pinheads. In the meantime, Phil Schroeder commanded No Pinheads with his 476 despite his team notching only a single win. Sh!t, Another Season leaps 1 spot in the standings to 4th place, while No Pinheads sink 1 spot to 5th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Turkey Sandwich entered a showdown to the death with Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. Despite the strength of Jason Carpio with his below-average 485 series, Turkey Sandwich got swept by Schlitz. Concurrently, Scott Murdock, Bob Brunker ruled Schlitz with their 493 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Scott Murdock) as they swept the competition. Turkey Sandwich drops 1 spot in the standings to 8th place, while Schlitz remains in 1st.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: WWJB shared a platter of cheese sticks with Rule 6B. Headlined by #1 Power-Ranked Rich Foster and his awe-inspiring 500 series, WWJB collected 3 wins against Rule 6B. Countering this, Ryan Doll showed off in Rule 6B with his 502 despite his team notching only a single win. WWJB leaps 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while Rule 6B sinks 1 spot to 3rd.

We are now halfway through the Spring 2009 season, so time is running out for those teams who want a shot at the championship to position themselves. The eighth week saw three teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and two rolled new personal high games. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (202) and series (528) for the women, while Zach Frank earned this week's high game (213) and series (593) for the men. First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Chico's Bail Bonds alternated between bowling and dry humping Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends. Blessed by David Codding with his 557 series, Chico's missed a clean sweep over Wonder Friends by just one pin.Simultaneously, Amanda Zahnweh laid down the law in Wonder Friends with her miraculous 406 as her team missed getting swept by just one pin. Chico's Bail Bonds leap 2 spots in the standings to 2nd place, while Wonder Friends remain in 8th.

On lanes 21 & 22: WWJB had a rendezvous with No Pinheads. Led by Most Valuable Bowler Rich Foster and his dazzling 417 series, WWJB collected 3 wins against No Pinheads. As for the opposition, Aubrey Moren oversaw No Pinheads with his 519 despite his team notching only a single win. WWJB leaps 1 spot in the standings to 9th place, while No Pinheads plunge 2 spots to 4th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Turkey Sandwich did battle with XXX. With the strength of #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head Zach Frank and his astounding 593 series, Turkey Sandwich collected 3 wins against XXX. In the midst of this, Rich DeYoung guided XXX with his above-average 517 despite his team notching only a single win. Turkey Sandwich remains in 7th place, while XXX sinks 1 spot to 10th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Sh!t, Another Season accepted a challenge by Chicks With Balls. Highlighting the skills of Duncan Ferber with his above-average 567 series, Another Season collected 3 wins against the Chicks. Countering this, Janelle (Laube) Lamar called the shots for the Chicks with her 413 despite her team notching only a single win. Sh!t, Another Season leaps 1 spot in the standings to 5th place, while the Chicks sink 1 spot to 6th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Rule 6B kept grabbing the balls of Schlitz For Us, Splits For You. With top billing by Adam Messner with his spectacular 539 series, Rule 6B split the series with Schlitz. On the other half of the score sheet, Angela Bradford commanded Schlitz with her above-average 528 as they matched their opponent in wins. Rule 6B remains in 3rd place, while Schlitz remains in 1st.

A stagnated seventh week of Spring 2009 resulted in absolutely no movement in the standings. On the other half of the score sheet, Ryan Housknecht commanded Wonder Friends with his above-average 407 despite his team notching only a single win. On lanes 25 & 26: XXX kept grabbing the balls of Chico's Bail Bonds. Although topped by Rich DeYoung with his above-average 518 series, XXX accomplished only 1 win against Chico's.
