Spring 2009 Week 6 Robo-RecapThe sixth week of Spring 2009 saw four teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (192) and series (508) for the women. As for the men, Cory Chorpenning snagged this week's high game with a 227, and high series was earned by David Codding with a 582. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Schlitz For Us, Splits For You deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of WWJB. Featuring Bob Brunker with his 516 series, Schlitz collected 3 wins against WWJB. Conversely, AJ Taylor guided WWJB with his above-average 412 despite his team notching only a single win. Schlitz For Us, Splits For You remains in 1st place, while WWJB remains in 10th.

week6On lanes 21 & 22: Chicks With Balls waged a heated competition against XXX. Highlighting the skills of trifecta-winner (#1 Head-to-Head, #1 Power-Ranked, and Most Valuable Bowler) Andrea Caudillo and her splendid 484 series, the Chicks celebrated a clean sweep over XXX. Across the ball return, Rich DeYoung called the shots for XXX with his above-average 500 despite his team getting swept. Chicks With Balls leap 2 spots in the standings to 5th place, while XXX sinks 1 spot to 9th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Rule 6B kept stealing sips of beer from Sh!t, Another Season. Headlined by Brett Schroeder with his above-average 448 series, Rule 6B collected 3 wins against Another Season. Concurrently, Cory Chorpenning reigned supreme in Another Season with his below-average 556 despite his team notching only a single win. Rule 6B leaps 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while Another Season sinks 1 spot to 6th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Turkey Sandwich tussled with Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends. Although topped by Jason Carpio with his below-average 477 series, Turkey Sandwich accomplished only 1 win against Wonder Friends. In the meantime, Ryan Housknecht mastered Wonder Friends with his above-average 416 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Turkey Sandwich drops 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while Wonder Friends move 1 spot to 8th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: No Pinheads couldn't stop inappropriately groping Chico's Bail Bonds. On the other half of the score sheet, David Codding commanded Chico's with his 582 despite his team notching only a single win. NEXT WEEK:
  • First, on lanes 19&20, 7th-place Turkey Sandwich will spend some quality time with 5th-place Chicks With Balls (hcp 24). Turkey Sandwich is expected to maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while the Chicks are forecast to raise their average while they enjoy their victories.
  • Moving to lanes 21&22, 3rd-place Rule 6B will compete against 8th-place Capt. Awesome & Wonder Friends (hcp 68). Rule 6B might maintain their current strength as they just barely miss sweeping the series; while Wonder Friends ought to hold steady as they just barely avoid getting swept.
  • Then, over on lanes 23&24, 2nd-place No Pinheads will tussle with 1st-place Schlitz For Us, Splits For You (hcp 29). No Pinheads will likely maintain their current strength as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Schlitz will probably raise their average while they enjoy their victories.
  • Next up, on lanes 25&26, 9th-place XXX (hcp 157) will hang out with 4th-place Chico's Bail Bonds. XXX might maintain their current strength as they get swept; while Chico's ought to raise their average while they rack up a sweep.
  • Finally, on lanes 27&28, 6th-place Sh!t, Another Season will chill with 10th-place WWJB (hcp 190). Another Season is predicted to maintain their current strength as they sweep the series; while WWJB is anticipated to hold steady as they endure a rough night.
*(Remember, the predicted results above are based on mathematical extrapolations and can be changed by all sorts of factors. If you don't like how your team's results are predicted, you and your teammates have the power to prove the math wrong!)
