The fourteenth week of Fall 2008 saw two teams climb in the standings, while two teams slipped. Jennifer Seefeldt landed this week's high game for the women with a 188, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder with a 484. As for the men, Duncan Ferber earned this week's high game (258) and series (598). Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Chico's Bail Bonds shared a few beers with Livin' On A Spare. Demonstrating the prowess of Ken M. Wilson with his 563 series, Chico's celebrated a clean sweep over Livin' On A Spare. Simultaneously, Tom Finley laid down the law in Livin' On A Spare with his below-average 364 despite his team getting swept. Chico's Bail Bonds remains in 1st place, while Livin' On A Spare remains in 9th.

On lanes 21 & 22: Ain't No Sh!t chucked gutter balls with Bowl Movement. Topped by Duncan Ferber with his above-average 598 series, Ain't No Sh!t split the series with Bowl Movement. Countering this, Carter Collins reigned supreme in Bowl Movement with his above-average 453 as they matched their opponent in wins. Ain't No Sh!t remains in 2nd place, while Bowl Movement sinks 1 spot to 6th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Bad Newz Kennels faced off against Dave and the Wingers. Headlined by Dennis Laube, Freda Schroeder with their 484 series, the Kennels collected 3 wins against the Wingers. While that was going down, #1 Head-to-Head Rob Kaszuba mastered the Wingers with his above-average 506 despite his team notching only a single win. Bad Newz Kennels remains in 7th place, while the Wingers remain in 8th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Is This Billable? waged a heated competition against Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty. Although blessed by Ryan Doll with his below-average 492 series, Is This Billable? accomplished only 1 win against Spare The Rod. In the midst of this, Andrea Caudillo took the lead in Spare The Rod with her above-average 435 as her team took the series with 3 wins. Is This Billable? plummets 2 spots in the standings to 5th place, while Spare The Rod jumps 2 spots to 4th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Dios Mios had a delightful time with WWJB. With top billing by Bill Krejci with his 527 series, with kudos to #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Lefty John Boren as well as #1 Head-to-Head , Dios Mios celebrated a clean sweep over WWJB. On the adjacent lane, AJ Taylor showed off in WWJB with his below-average 300 despite his team getting swept. Dios Mios leap 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while WWJB remains in 10th.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Carl Goetz had his way with Division 1, while Chris Lewis rolled his ass to the top of Division 2. John Keck trounced Division 3, and nobody claimed victory in Division 4, and in fact we aren't even going to talk about Division 4 as it was a complete embarassment. Finally, Janelle (Laube) Lamar (Division 4) spanked this week's Interdivisional bracket. In terms of overall points: Carl Goetz runs the show in Division 1; Aubrey Moren is in the driver's seat in Division 2; Carter Collins holds the reins in Division 3; and Lindsay Jamis reigns over Division 4.

• First, on lanes 19&20, 2nd-place Ain't No Sh!t will battle 3rd-place Dios Mios (hcp 145). Ain't No Sh!t is expected to tank their averages considerably as they lose the series but avoid getting swept; while Dios Mios are forecast to drop their average a bit even as they enjoy their victories.
• Moving to lanes 21&22, 8th-place Dave and the Wingers will spend some quality time with 9th-place Livin' On A Spare (hcp 16). The Wingers might perform well and win the series; while Livin' On A Spare ought to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.

• Finally, on lanes 27&28, 7th-place Bad Newz Kennels will chill with 4th-place Spare The Rod, Split The Kitty (hcp 64). The Kennels are predicted to roll a little low, but split the series with Spare The Rod; while Spare The Rod is anticipated to hold steady as they keep the series tied.
