Spring 2008 Week 2 Robo-RecapThe second week of Spring 2008 saw four teams climb in the standings, while four teams slipped. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and one rolled new personal high game. Angela Bradford landed this week's high game for the women with a 223, and women's high series was bagged by Freda Schroeder with a 539. As for the men, Don Glasscock earned this week's high game (247) and series (667). Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Split Happens alternated between bowling and dry humping You Don't Know Sh!t. Demonstrating the prowess of Ryan Simonet with his 434 series, Split Happens split the series with Don't Know Sh!t. On the other side, Cory Chorpenning reigned supreme in Don't Know Sh!t with his 574 as they matched their opponent in wins. Split Happens remains in 7th place, while Don't Know Sh!t plunges 3 spots to 4th.

week2On lanes 21 & 22: Ebowla celebrated their love of large, heavy balls with 3 Dudes and a Doll. Although topped by Travis Kleiner with his breathtaking 497 series, Ebowla got swept by 3 Dudes and a Doll. Concurrently, #1 Head-to-Head Ryan Doll drew the spotlight in 3 Dudes and a Doll with his 604 as they swept the competition. Ebowla plummets 2 spots in the standings to 10th place, while 3 Dudes and a Doll jumps 2 spots to 2nd.

On lanes 23 & 24: Sofa King Good shared a few beers with Dr. Strangelanes, Or How I Learned To Stop Opening And Earn The Belt. Featuring Don Glasscock with his above-average 667 series, Sofa King collected 3 wins against Dr. Strangelanes. On the other half of the score sheet, Seth Gunderson called the shots for Dr. Strangelanes with his phenomenal 655 despite his team notching only a single win. Sofa King Good drops 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while Dr. Strangelanes remain in 5th.

On lanes 25 & 26: It's Britney, Bitch traded lane malfunctions with ?. Regardless of the star power of Jeff Unseld with his remarkable 382 series, Britney accomplished only 1 win against ?. Countering this, John Coleman ruled ? with his 484 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Rob Kaszuba) as his team took the series with 3 wins. It's Britney, Bitch leaps 2 spots in the standings to 8th place, while ? jumps 3 spots to 6th.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Bad Newz Kennels faced off against Dios Mios. Headlined by #1 Power-Ranked Dennis Laube and his thrilling 565 series, the Kennels celebrated a clean sweep over Dios Mios. Simultaneously, Bill Krejci took the lead in Dios Mios with his below-average 570 despite his team getting swept. Bad Newz Kennels leap 2 spots in the standings to 1st place, while Dios Mios plunge 3 spots to 9th.

A new personal high game was set tonight by Dennis Laube (243, previous best 233). In addition, new personal best series were rolled by Seth Gunderson (655, previous best 620) and Travis Kleiner (497, previous best 486).

Angela Bradford earned this season's women's high game with her 223, and Freda Schroeder claimed the season's women's high series with her 539. In addition,, while Don Glasscock bagged the season's men's high series with his 667.

The 223 rolled by Angela Bradford is the new 8th-best women's game in league history!

Dr. Strangelanes might maintain their current strength as they win the series; while the Kennels ought to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.

Spring 2008 Week 1 Robo-RecapThe Spring 2008 season is now underway, with ten teams entering the 16-week competition for the coveted, nonexistent championship trophy. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and two rolled new personal high games. Freda Schroeder picked up this week's high game (222) and series (505) for the women, while Duncan Ferber earned this week's high game (277) and series (616) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: Ebowla shared a few beers with Sofa King Good. Notwithstanding the leadership of Chris Lewis with his 443 series, Ebowla accomplished only 1 win against Sofa King. In the meantime, Don Glasscock oversaw Sofa King with his 604 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Ebowla starts out in 8th place, while Sofa King commences the season with 2nd.

Starring Duncan Ferber with his 616 series, with props to #1 Head-to-Head bowler , Don't Know Sh!t collected 3 wins against Dios Mios. While that was going down, #1 Power-Ranked Bill Krejci called the shots for Dios Mios with his 605 despite his team notching only a single win. You Don't Know Sh!t leaves the gate in 1st place, while Dios Mios get rolling in 6th.

On lanes 23 & 24: It's Britney, Bitch kept grabbing the balls of 3 Dudes and a Doll. Despite being led by Dave Winger with his 454 series, Britney accomplished only 1 win against 3 Dudes and a Doll. Conversely, Ryan Doll dominated 3 Dudes and a Doll with his 576 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler John Richardson) as his team took the series with 3 wins. It's Britney, Bitch gets underway in 10th place, while 3 Dudes and a Doll starts off with 4th.

On lanes 25 & 26: Split Happens matched wits with Bad Newz Kennels. Though featuring Ryan Schooley with his 450 series, Split Happens accomplished only 1 win against the Kennels. On the flipside, Freda Schroeder shined in the Kennels with her 505 as her team took the series with 3 wins. Split Happens begins the season in 7th place, while the Kennels begin in 3rd.

Finally, down on lanes 27 & 28: Dr. Strangelanes, Or How I Learned To Stop Opening And Earn The Belt waged a heated competition against ?. Reinforced by Nik Domann with his 493 series, Dr. Strangelanes collected 3 wins against ?. Concurrently, John Coleman drew the spotlight in ? with his (either injured, sick, or sandbagging) 462 despite his team notching only a single win. Dr. Strangelanes, Or How I Learned To Stop Opening And Earn The Belt 5th place, while ? 9th.
