The Spring 2007 season draws to a close, with Guttersluts officially earning this season's championship title! The final week saw three teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (189) and series (527) for the women. As for the men, Duncan Ferber snagged this week's high game with a 225, and high series was earned by Bill Krejci with a 621. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 15 & 16: Guttersluts did battle with Oily Balls. Reinforced by #1 Head-to-Head Bill Krejci and his spectacular 621 series, Guttersluts collected 3 wins against Oily Balls. On the adjacent lane, Pat Searcy called the shots for Oily Balls with his 575 despite his team notching only a single win. Guttersluts close out in 1st place, while Oily Balls cros the finish line in 2nd.
On lanes 17 & 18: X9XX took turns kicking the ball return with Unstoppabowl. In spite of the prowess of Stefan Miller with his above-average 546 series, X9XX accomplished only 1 win against Unstoppabowl. As for the opposition, Cory Chorpenning commanded Unstoppabowl with his below-average 510 as his team took the series with 3 wins. X9XX drops 1 spot in the standings to end in 4th place, while Unstoppabowl moves 1 spot to go home with 3rd.
On lanes 19 & 20: Doll's Balls alternated between bowling and dry humping Those 4 Bowlers. With top billing by Ryan Doll with his above-average 562 series, Doll's Balls collected 3 wins against 4 Bowlers. In the meantime, Seth Gunderson showed off in 4 Bowlers with his above-average 586 despite his team notching only a single win. Doll's Balls finish in 5th place, while 4 Bowlers sink 1 spot to wind up in 7th.
On lanes 21 & 22: King Pins waged a heated competition against Frickin' Ten Pin. Led by John Coleman with his 569 series, King Pins collected 3 wins against Ten Pin. Simultaneously, Carl Goetz reigned supreme in Ten Pin with his below-average 530 despite his team notching only a single win. King Pins leap 1 spot in the standings to complete in 6th place, while Ten Pin come out in 8th.
Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: Churn and Burn alternated splits with T.B.D.. Despite the strength of James Cholke with his above-average 508 series, Churn and Burn got swept by T.B.D.. Meanwhile, #1 Power-Ranked and Most Valuable Bowler Tyler Hilker mastered T.B.D. with his outstanding 535 as they swept the competition. Churn and Burn drops 1 spot in the standings to 10th place, while T.B.D. moves 1 spot to 9th.

A new personal best series was rolled tonight by Bill Krejci (621, previous best 595).
After a hard fought season, the Tournament of Champions was won tonight by Stefan Miller (Division 2), with Kendall Kukowski (Division 4) landing in second place. Stefan will pocket the nice first-place pot, while Kendall will take away the second-place pot. Congratulations!
