The thirteenth week of Fall 2004 saw one team climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. One bowler set a new personal best series, and two rolled new personal high games. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (200) and series (511) for the women, while Ken M. Wilson earned this week's high game (225) and series (652) for the men. Read on for all the rest of the details!
First up, on lanes 19 & 20: A Solid No. 2 waged a heated competition against Ashley Razabacks. Headlined by Corey Weinfurt with his above-average 534 series, No. 2 split the series with the Razabacks. Meanwhile, Rich DeYoung shined in the Razabacks with his wondrous 532 as they matched their opponent in wins. A Solid No. 2 remains in 5th place, while the Razabacks sink 1 spot to 4th.
On lanes 21 & 22: Paul Hamms deliberately ate cheese sticks in front of The Belt Strikes Back. Though featuring Bill Krejci with his 569 series, the Hamms got swept by the Belt. In the midst of this, Most Valuable Bowler Demond Robinson commanded the Belt with his above-average 600 as they swept the competition. Paul Hamms drop 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while the Belt remains in 1st.
On lanes 23 & 24: Recreation Intoxication kept grabbing the balls of Die Schlag-Maschinen. Showcasing Pat Searcy with his 540 series, Recreation split the series with Die Schlag-Maschinen. Concurrently, Jerry Krall took the lead in Die Schlag-Maschinen with his 410 as they matched their opponent in wins. Recreation Intoxication remains in 2nd place, while Die Schlag-Maschinen remains in 8th.
Finally, down on lanes 25 & 26: Real Ultimate Ninja Bowlers matched wits with Bowlkake. Led by #1 Power-Ranked Dennis Laube and his splendid 602 series, the Ninjas collected 3 wins against Bowlkake. On the other side, #1 Head-to-Head Ken M. Wilson mastered Bowlkake with his marvelous 652 despite his team notching only a single win. Real Ultimate Ninja Bowlers leap 4 spots in the standings to 3rd place, while Bowlkake plunges 2 spots to 6th.

Nobody claimed victory in Division 3 (though Amanda Schulte came closest), and nobody claimed victory in Division 4 (though Chad Green came closest). In terms of overall points: Dennis Laube dominates Division 1; Jason Carpio is in the driver's seat in Division 2; Janelle (Laube) Lamar reigns over Division 3; and Ray Haynes runs the show in Division 4.
NEXT WEEK:
- First, on lanes 19&20, 2nd-place Recreation Intoxication (hcp 50) will test their mettle against 6th-place Bowlkake. Recreation is expected to roll a little low and get swept; while Bowlkake is forecast to hold steady as they rack up a sweep.
- Moving to lanes 21&22, 8th-place Die Schlag-Maschinen (hcp 68) will tussle with 3rd-place Real Ultimate Ninja Bowlers. Die Schlag-Maschinen might perform well, yet still manage to lose the series but avoid getting swept; while the Ninjas ought to raise their average while they enjoy their victories.
- Then, over on lanes 23&24, 4th-place Ashley Razabacks will roll against 7th-place Paul Hamms (hcp 2). The Razabacks will likely maintain their current strength as they win the series; while the Hamms will probably drop their average a bit while avoid getting swept.
- Finally, on lanes 25&26, 1st-place The Belt Strikes Back will spend some quality time with 5th-place A Solid No. 2 (hcp 20). The Belt is predicted to maintain their current strength as they and split the series with No. 2; while No. 2 is anticipated to hold steady as they keep the series tied.
