On lanes 21 & 22: Die Schlag-Maschinen faced off against Real Ultimate Ninja Bowlers. Though featuring Jerry Krall with his powerful 462 series, Die Schlag-Maschinen accomplished only 1 win against the Ninjas. As for the opposition, Dennis Laube laid down the law in the Ninjas with his 506 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Die Schlag-Maschinen remains in 8th place, while the Ninjas sink 1 spot to 4th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Ashley Razabacks spent a romantic evening with Paul Hamms. With the strength of Rich DeYoung with his above-average 536 series, the Razabacks celebrated a clean sweep over the Hamms. Concurrently, Bill Krejci drew the spotlight in the Hamms with his (either injured, sick, or sandbagging) 461 despite his team getting swept. Finally, down on lanes 25 & 26: The Belt Strikes Back kept stealing sips of beer from A Solid No. 2. Blessed by trifecta-winner (#1 Head-to-Head, #1 Power-Ranked, and Most Valuable Bowler) Demond Robinson and his awe-inspiring 683 series, the Belt celebrated a clean sweep over No. 2. On the adjacent lane, Eric Lynch called the shots for No. 2 with his above-average 546 despite his team getting swept. The Belt Strikes Back remains in 1st place, while No. 2 remains in 5th.

The tenth week of Fall 2004 saw three teams climb in the standings, while three teams slipped. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (202) and series (514) for the women. As for the men, Nik Domann snagged this week's high game with a 235, and high series was earned by Carl Goetz with a 616. Read on for all the rest of the details!

First up, on lanes 19 & 20: The Belt Strikes Back alternated splits with Recreation Intoxication. Showcasing Nik Domann with his above-average 559 series, the Belt collected 3 wins against Recreation . On the adjacent lane, Pat Searcy showed off in Recreation with his 541 despite his team notching only a single win. The Belt Strikes Back leaps 1 spot in the standings to 2nd place, while Recreation sinks 1 spot to 5th.

On lanes 21 & 22: Bowlkake had a delightful time with A Solid No. 2. Even though highlighted by the skills of Carl Goetz with his 616 series, Bowlkake accomplished only 1 win against No. 2. As for the opposition, Corey Weinfurt ruled No. 2 with his 528 (with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Eric Lynch) as his team took the series with 3 wins. Bowlkake drops 1 spot in the standings to 7th place, while No. 2 moves 1 spot to 4th.

On lanes 23 & 24: Paul Hamms tussled with Real Ultimate Ninja Bowlers. Starring #1 Power-Ranked Mark McClendon and his stunning 555 series, the Hamms split the series with the Ninjas. While that was going down, #1 Head-to-Head Dennis Laube oversaw the Ninjas with his above-average 544 as they matched their opponent in wins. Paul Hamms drop 1 spot in the standings to 3rd place, while the Ninjas move 1 spot to 6th.

Finally, down on lanes 25 & 26: Die Schlag-Maschinen entered a showdown to the death with Ashley Razabacks. Though reinforced by Jerry Krall with his 396 series, Die Schlag-Maschinen accomplished only 1 win against the Razabacks. On the other half of the score sheet, Stefan Paz mastered the Razabacks with his above-average 517 as his team took the series with 3 wins. Die Schlag-Maschinen remains in 8th place, while the Razabacks remain in 1st.

In this week's Tournament of Champions brackets: Dennis Laube topped Division 1, while Eric Lynch crushed Division 2. Nobody claimed victory in Division 3 (though Amanda Schulte came closest), and nobody claimed victory in Division 4, and in fact we aren't even going to talk about Division 4 as it was a complete embarassment. In terms of overall points: Dennis Laube is in the driver's seat in Division 1; Jason Carpio reigns over Division 2; Janelle (Laube) Lamar leads Division 3; and Ray Haynes governs Division 4.

• First, on lanes 19&20, 6th-place Real Ultimate Ninja Bowlers (hcp 63) will chill with 4th-place A Solid No. 2. The Ninjas are expected to perform well and win the series; while No. 2 is forecast to hold steady as they avoid getting swept.
