The Fall 2003 season is now underway, with eight teams entering the 16-week competition for the coveted, nonexistent championship trophy. Two bowlers set a new personal best series, and three rolled new personal high games. Angela Bradford picked up this week's high game (193) and series (533) for the women, while David Codding earned this week's high game (256) and series (648) for the men. First up, on lanes 17 & 18: Anchors Aweigh! waged a heated competition against Gutter Minds. Demonstrating the prowess of #1 Power Ranked and #1 Head-to-Head David Codding and his dazzling 648 series, the Anchors split the series with Gutter Minds. In the meantime, Angela Bradford dominated Gutter Minds with her miraculous 533 as they matched their opponent in wins. Anchors Aweigh! begins the season in 2nd place, while Gutter Minds commence the season with 3rd.
On lanes 19 & 20: Bowlers of Mass Confusion had a delightful time with Wolverines. Headlined by Corey Weinfurt with his 451 series, Mass Confusion split the series with the Wolverines. While that was going down, Thomas Lin shined in the Wolverines with his 468 as they matched their opponent in wins. Bowlers of Mass Confusion starts out in 6th place, while the Wolverines start off with 7th.
On lanes 21 & 22: Spare Change had some one-on-one time with Theee Beeelt. Featuring Demond Robinson with his 507 series, Spare Change split the series with Theee Beeelt. Simultaneously, Aaron Weidner oversaw Theee Beeelt with his stupendous 500 as they matched their opponent in wins. Spare Change gets underway in 4th place, while Theee Beeelt gets going with 5th.
Finally, down on lanes 23 & 24: Atomic Goo tussled with Bowl me Ishmael!. With top billing by Steve Robinson with his 489 series, with kudos to Most Valuable Bowler Marca Robinson, Atomic Goo collected 3 wins against Ishmael. On the adjacent lane, Cindy Olsen laid down the law in Ishmael with her 286 despite her team notching only a single win. Atomic Goo leaves the gate in 1st place, while Ishmael gets rolling in 8th.

New personal high games were set tonight by David Codding (256, previous best 239), Deena Slinkard (180, previous best 177), and Aaron Weidner (189, previous best 175). In addition, new personal best series were rolled by David Codding (648, previous best 605) and Aaron Weidner (500, previous best 445).
The 256 rolled by David Codding is tied for the 2nd-best game in league history!
The 533 rolled by Angela Bradford is the new 4th-best women's series in league history!
The 648 rolled by David Codding is the new 2nd-best series in league history!
